Primary School Visits
DAY TRIPS
We can currently offer fun packed activity days or half days to groups of up to 30 children at a time.
Visits include a tour of the farm and fun outdoor educational activities (such as natural crafts, bush crafts and team building games) based at our Conservation Site ‘Boiling Wells’.
A half day session costs:
Supervising Adults: Free
Children: £3.50 each (with a minimum cost of £40)
FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS
We also now offer Forest School Style Sessions. The program generally operates by delivering a series of two-hourly sessions weekly, over 6 weeks. Group sizes for this need to be small with a maximum of 10 children.
Forest Schools is a national education programme which uses a child led approach to cover the national curriculum in an outdoor setting. It has been proven to be hugely benefical particularly for those children who find it hard to learn in a traditional indoor school setting and those who lack green space in their everyday home life.
This costs £80 per 2 hour session for up to 10 children. There are consessionary prices available please contact us for details.
All of these sessions are extremely popular and need booking well in advance. We also prioritise local schools and community groups.
